To Produce a competent Diploma Engineers who are employable with relevant skills to take up gainful employment in the existing and emerging Industries at the local and global level and to impart technical knowledge and skills required to succeed in life, career and to help society to achieve self-sufficiency. To become an internationally leading department for higher learning. To build upon the culture and values of universal science and contemporary education. To be a center of research and education generating knowledge and technologies which lay ground work in shaping the future in the fields of electrical and electronics engineering. To develop partnership with industrial, R&D and government agencies and actively participate in conferences, technical and community activities. To produce dynamic and enterprising youngsters capable of facing the changing times and taking on the toughest technical challenges To equip students with knowledge, skills and values to enhance their employability opportunities. Diploma holders can be absorbed into various Government organizations like SCCL, GENCO, TRANSCO, DRDO, SAIL etc and Private organizations or can go for self-employment. They can appear for ECET to seek admission into II Year B.E / B.Tech in Engineering Colleges.
