Kamani Sadanandam is a Professor and Head of the Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department. He is pursuing PhD in Power Systems from Lovely Professional University-Punjab . He received M.Tech in Power Systems from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-hyderabad in 2010, B.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from JBIT College of Engineering, HYDERABAD IN 2005.
He has a teaching experience of 14 years. He started his career in SBIT KHAMMAM and Dr HS MIC College of Technology in 2005 as Assistant Professor. Also, he worked as Associate Professor and Professor in the same institute. Presently he is working as Professor and Head in EEE Department at MTEC.
His research includes FACTS controllers, power electronics applications to power systems, optimization techniques and power system operation & control. He has published 14 National/International Journals & Conferences. His research work has been published in international journals like Elsevier, ACTA press, ELEKTRIKA etc.., and IEEE international conferences. He is also the reviewer for repute journals
He has extensive experience in power systems. He supervised and mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students. . Some of his achievements are best paper award in national Conference in 2012,Young Engineers National Award in 2014. He got an AICTE MODROB grant of Rs.5,00,000 in 2014.He is a member of IEEE, life member of ISTE,IEI,IAENG,
